How The White House Has Changed The Obamas

Barack and Michelle Obama have spent more than a thousand days on display before the nation’s eyes, but the personal changes they have undergone can be hard to detect.
Up close, though, those who know the Obamas say they can see an accumulation of small shifts in the president and the first lady since they walked the inaugural parade route four years ago. The man who wanted to change the nature of Washington now warns job candidates that it is hard to get anything done there. Not so long ago, he told others that he did not need a presidential library, a tribute to himself costing hundreds of millions of dollars. Now a former aide, Susan Sher, is quietly eyeing possibilities for him in Chicago.
The first lady who wanted to forge connections with her new city found that even viewing the cherry blossoms required a hat, sunglasses and wheedling the Secret Service. In a demonstration of how difficult it can be for any president or first lady to sustain relationships, Mrs. Obama stopped taking on girls in a mentorship programme she founded because of concerns that other teenagers would envy the lucky advisees, according to an aide.
The Obamas have gained and lost in their four years in the White House, becoming seasoned professionals instead of newcomers, more conventional, with a contracted sense of possibility. They are steady characters, not given to serial self-reinvention. Yet in interviews, current and former White House and campaign aides, donors and friends from Chicago said they could see how the president and the first lady had been affected by their roles.
Mr. Obama never wanted to be an ordinary politician — there was a time when Mrs. Obama could barely use that noun to describe her husband — and his advisers resist the idea that he has succumbed to standard Washington practice. Some donors and aides give an “if only” laugh at the idea that the couple now follows political ritual more closely: this is a president who still has not had Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton to dinner but holds lunches to discuss moral philosophy with the fellow Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel.
Still, others say the Obamas have become more relaxed schmoozers, more at ease with the porous line between the political and social, more willing to reveal themselves. They have recently begun inviting more outsiders into their private living quarters, including Mr. Kushner, Steven Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis at the “Lincoln” dinner. At a dinner in late November to thank top campaign fund-raisers, the first couple was like a bride and groom, bantering and traveling from table to table to accept congratulations and good wishes for the years ahead, making sly jokes that guests would not repeat for publication.
What Mr. Obama wants to achieve this term is pretty clear: a fiscal deal and overhauls of gun and immigration laws, steps to address climate change and less restrictive voter identification laws. But what Mrs. Obama wants is more of a mystery. Mrs. Obama cannot wait too long to set out on a new course: the Obamas will soon have more time behind them in the White House than in front of them. The rituals they introduced are now matters of tradition instead of innovation.
Mr. Obama’s entire career has been about getting to the next stage: if he could only become a lawyer, and then a public official, and then a United States senator, and then president, he could create real change. But soon there will be no higher job to reach for, and aides say there is an all-business quality to the Obamas now, a contrast with the sense of possibility that hung over the first inauguration.
Early in the presidency, Mr. Obama would sometimes spend hours polishing ceremonial speeches, like one for Abraham Lincoln’s bicentennial; now, the president has a more finely honed sense of how to use his precious time, said Adam Frankel, a former speechwriter. When Mr. Obama walked off the stage on election night, he did not pause to exult; instead, he wanted to talk about the impact of outside spending in that night’s Congressional races, said Patrick Gaspard, the director of the Democratic National Committee

‘Jonathan belittled his office by kneeling in front of Adeboye publicly’ -Tunde Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly tells Punch:
They have signaled the campaign by going to kneel down before Pastor Adeboye. See, I am not saying that pastors should not pray for presidents, that man was representing an office; a whole nation crumbling before men of God because of political advantage they think they can get. And if the prayer will bail him out, let us wait and see.
Bakare
The truth is who is preparing for 2015, which faction of the PDP? Is it the (Olusegun) Obasanjo faction? Or IBB faction? Or Jonathan faction? The governors’ faction? Because PDP is a house divided against itself; it’s a chicken that has begun to eat its own intestines. By going to kneel down in the open before the pastor, the man (Jonathan) did not even recognise the dignity of his office. If it were a private thing, it is okay for you to crawl or kneel but it is a whole nation. That office has been diminished by a man who does not know the worth of it and does not deserve to stay there for one more day.Do you Agree with him?

What NATURE Has Taught Me! (Story of a Conscious Black Man)

NATURE has taught me that there is no future for any race of people that knows not its past, it has taught me that I must make every effort in this life time to acquire the knowledge, truth and history of my race, that was deliberately hidden by those who wish to keep my race subservient to them.

Whenever hidden knowledge, truths, history and culture about my race and the tremendous sacrifices that my fore-parent made for me to be alive today that I unearth, I will use that knowledge truth, history and culture as tools to help unshackle the minds of the millions of mentally enslaved Africans at home and abroad so we can someday return to our GLORY-DAYS.
Africa is the mother of nature.
Africa is the mother of nature.
NATURE has taught me that I should never worship another man as god, especially a dead man of another race: Am I not also a man, am I not alive, if I were to worship another man isn’t there thousands of my ancestor that deserve my adoration more than a stranger? If men from other races can be considered to be gods then men from my race should also be GODS! NATURE has also taught me that I should never pray to a rock five times or any amount of times a day, a rock is just a rock it is dead and I am alive.
NATURE has taught me that it is impossible for a TRUE SUPREME GOD to get angry, jealous, love, hate, happy, or sad, because these are all petty human emotions: NATURE has taught me that a TRUE SUPREME GOD can’t have a chosen people, race, son, daughter , country, or sexual gender, because these are all petty human biases: NATURE has taught me that a TRUE SUPREME GOD can never have legs, arms, head, eye, heart, or brain, because these are all petty human physical features.
A SUPREME GOD {an invisible being in the sky or anywhere else} can’t truly become human even if he wanted to, because all humans are limited, all are corrupt & none can be all powerful {because if they were not corrupt and could be all powerful then they too would all be SUPREME GODS} , so if a SUPREME GOD was to somehow become man he would have to stay a man forever, because being that man is corrupt and not all powerful he would not have the power to return to being a SUPREME GOD and even if he could return to his prior status he would return as a SUPREME GOD of corruption.
Africa is the home of nature and natural living.
Africa is the home of nature and natural living.
NATURE has taught me that no race is superior to my race, NATURE has unequivocally proven to me and the rest of the world through its archeological records that my race was here on earth living in highly developed civilizations, cultures, and kingdoms, tens of thousands of years before all the other races of people on earth were even civilized: NATURE has also undeniable proven to me and the world through DNA that all races of people on earth share my fore-parent’s DNA proving that all other races of people evolved out of my fore-parents AFRICAN essence, thus firmly establishing that my fore-parent are the PARENTS of ALL mankind.
Africa is home of Nature: Victoria Falls, Zambia / Zimbabwe.
Africa is home of Nature: Victoria Falls, Zambia / Zimbabwe.
NATURE has taught me to ask these simple questions to anyone who tries to convert me to their foreign religions, “(1) What was the BLACKMAN’S religion before the birth of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad? (2) Which GOD did the BLACKMAN worship before the Jews inoculate with him with Jehovah, before the Roman force fed him with Jesus and before the Arabs oppressed him with Allah?
Didn’t the BLACKMAN, have their own distinct forms of worship all over Africa for 50,000 years, before the uncivilized Jewish race was civilized 4,000 years ago by a man that learned everything he knew about civilization from the Ancient Egyptians Pharaohs, or before the Caucasians crawled out of the caves of the Caucus mountains in Europe 6,000 years ago, or the scattered Arabs untied as one tribe a mere 1,600 years ago?
NATURE has taught me that any religion that teaches me that god looks like them and the devil looks like I do, I will forever be a slave to that religion/race.
NATURE has taught me that any religion that teaches me that the only way to “salvation”, “heaven”, or “paradise” is through their race, I will forever be subservient to that particular religion/race. NATURE has taught me that any religion that teaches that the poor BLACKMAN must give his money to foreign “holy-men” so that they can then give the money to their foreign gods and enrich themselves, all such religions are scams that are operated by despicable con-men who call themselves holy and any black man who assist these con-men in ripping -off their fellow BLACKMAN are bigger “DEVILS” than their bosses.
NATURE has taught me that the time has come for the AFRICAN to wipe from their minds the worship of foreign gods, messiahs, holy-men, holy-books, and religion; the time is now to crate, rediscover, and emulate these things for your own if you think that you need these things to function in your life; if other races can do it so can you.
NATURE has taught me to tell you to read the “Pyramid Texts or “The book of the Dead” if you must read a religious book, these African religious writings are the oldest religious writings in the world thousands of years older than the bible or the Quran.

A man performs the Stations of the Cross during the Good Friday procession earlier this month in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. A report on CNN says “Africans among world’s most religious people“, study finds.
NATURE has taught me to tell you that if you feel that you must worship a man/god , then you should forget the man god of the other races and worship the one some of your ancestors worshiped these man/god deserved your adoration more the men of the other races. I am talking about man/ god like HORUS, IMHOTEP {he was worship as a god by the European for 2000 years before the birth of Jesus} OSIRIS, AMENHOTEP, AMUN/ AMEN {who the religious folks still to this day pay homage to at the end of the prayers}, RAMESES, the list of the BLACK god/men is almost endless for you to choose from if you feel that you must worship a man/god.
NATURE has taught me that any AFRICAN who forces him/herself to willingly accept a known lie or falsehood as truth or fact, because he/she is afraid of being punished by a supposed all loving, all merciful, invisible man in the sky, such an AFRICAN is the epitome of a coward and a hypocrisy not only to himself but also to his/her race; such an act is not only a crime against mankind but also a crime against NATURE itself.
NATURE has taught me a lot of TRUTHS and all AFRICANS at home and abroad can also learn a lot of TRUTHS from it too if only they would take a seat and pay attention in the class room of NATURE

Counterfeit Naira Printed In Australia During Soludo’s Era At The Central Bank Of Nigeria

Charles Soludo
PM News, lagos
The police in Australia have been told how the Nigerian currency notes, the naira, were  printed illegally by a firm in that country during the era of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as  the Central Bank Governor. Soludo was replaced last year by Lamido Sanusi.
An Australian newspaper, The Age, reports that three former workers at The Reserve Bank  of Australia’s currency firm, Securency, told the police that the firm produced millions  of partly made Nigerian banknotes without authorisation from the Nigerian authorities, a  practice former staff of the firm described as effective counterfeiting.
The newspaper reports that the Australian Federal Police, AFP, have been investigating  Securency for the past 17 months over its alleged bribery of foreign officials, including  Nigerian and Vietnamese officials, to win contracts in these countries.
The Australian Federal Police were told by three former staff members that the RBA  company produced banknote substrate – the unique base material used to make banknotes -  belonging to at least three countries, including Nigeria and Vietnam, without formal  orders from their central banks.
Government sources have said that among the potentially explosive evidence uncovered by  the AFP are documents suggesting a senior trade official engaged in highly unethical  behaviour to help win Securency contracts overseas.
Ministers, including Treasurer Wayne Swan, and RBA governor Glenn Stevens have repeatedly  refused to comment on the scandal. Securency’s board is chaired by an assistant bank  governor.
The AFP has been told by former Securency employees that the unauthorised banknote  substrate was stored at the company’s Craigieburn headquarters or off-site – including at  a facility with poor security – in the hope that it would eventually be ordered.
Three former Securency employees aware of the practice, and who have all given statements  or been debriefed by the AFP, said the practice was highly improper but was done so the  company could falsely claim it was meeting production and sales targets.
When P.M.NEWS contacted the Coporate Affairs Head of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mohammed  Abdullahi, this morning, he said “it was impossible,” adding that the report “is sheer  balderdash.” He declined to speak further.
Due to fears of counterfeiting and currency manipulation, firms that make banknotes can  usually only do so after receiving an order from a central bank.
The unauthorised substrate production also suggests that the senior company executives  who ordered it did so because they may have been aware of corrupt back-room deals struck  with foreign officials who had promised to make future orders.
In an AFP witness statement, one of the former employees stated that they had been told  by Securency managers that doing an unauthorised print run ”would constitute  counterfeiting”.
Despite this, the witness said that they were told in 2008 to begin the unauthorised  Nigerian substrate production using an expired production order number.
The AFP statement says: ”Substrate was never produced without a valid customer order.  However, on one occasion during August or September 2008, production received a direction  from (chief executive) Myles Curtis to produce substrate for Nigerian currency, the 20  naira denomination, in the absence of a customer order.”
The employee said that staff protested several times about doing the unauthorised print  run on the basis that it was highly unethical and potentially illegal. But they said that  Securency management told them that ”the production would go ahead regardless”.
In the police statement, the witness says they believed that the unauthorised print run  was ordered so the firm’s board – which includes senior RBA officials, including deputy  governor Bob Rankin – could be told the company was meeting sales and production targets.
”I believe that the decision by management to produce substrate without an order was  made on the basis that the second production line was operating below capacity,” the AFP  statement says.
The witness statement also reveals that Securency stored the Nigerian substrate in a  facility with poor security, a concern shared by two other Securency employees.
”On several occasions, I raised concerns about what I regarded as the lack of security  at the storage facility where the Nigerian substrate was stored. I also had concerns  about the transporting of the substrate.”
The witness states that dissent was not tolerated at Securency. ”Securency was tightly  controlled by a clique of senior managers. If an employee was outside of this clique and  questioned company practices, he or she would likely be quickly terminated.”
Two other former Securency employees told The Age they had spoken to the federal police  about their concerns that the company had engaged in quasi counterfeiting.
The AFP refused to comment on its inquiry into Securency, which features 20 full-time  officers and spans several continents. It has previously stated it is examining whether  the firm’s executives engaged in foreign bribery by paying multimillion-dollar  commissions to middlemen Securency hired to influence foreign officials to give the firm  banknote contracts.
Securency managing director Mr. Curtis and company secretary John Ellery departed earlier  this year after the RBA conducted an audit of Securency’s activities that found almost  $50 million had been paid between 2003 and 2009 to overseas middlemen
